Billing, Cancellation & Credits Policy

Plan changes
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch plans at any time. Shopify automatically handles proration when you change plans within a billing cycle.
Cancellation / Uninstall
- Cancel anytime from inside the app or by uninstalling. This stops future renewals right away.
- We immediately move your account to the Free plan.
- We always request a prorated refund for the unused time in your current billing period via Shopify.
- Any unused included monthly credits do not carry over to Free and are cleared when the refund is requested.
- One‑time credit packs (add‑ons) remain in your account until used.
Monthly (included) credits
- Included monthly credits are for the current billing period only.
- On cancellation, unused included credits do not carry over to the Free plan and are cleared when we request the refund.
- On plan changes (upgrade/downgrade), included credits follow Shopify’s proration rules and reset with the new plan’s cycle.
One-time credit packs (add-ons)
- One‑time credit packs you purchase are yours until used. They persist if you move to the Free plan or cancel. If a subscription period is fully refunded (zero usage scenario), only the unused included monthly credits for that refunded period are removed—your previously purchased one‑time packs remain.
Early cancellations & refunds
- We always request a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period at the time of cancellation.
- Shopify issues app credits on your bill for approved amounts; timing is subject to Shopify’s processing.
- Unused included monthly credits are cleared when the refund is requested. One‑time packs are not affected.
Credit & refund outcomes summary
- Cancel anytime: We request a prorated refund for the unused time; included monthly credits are cleared; one‑time packs remain; you move to the Free plan immediately.
- Plan changes: Shopify prorates charges/credits; your included credits reset with the new plan’s cycle; no roll‑over to Free.
How refunds/credits are issued
- We initiate prorated refunds through Shopify’s billing API at cancellation. Shopify does not automatically refund app subscriptions.
- Approved amounts appear as app credits on your Shopify bill and are deducted from our Partner payouts.
Store deactivation
- If you close your Shopify store, any outstanding app charges are collected immediately by Shopify during the close‑store flow.
